Prasidh Krishna, a World Cup squad member, is set to feature, but the injured Hardik Pandya, who could have captained if fit, is not in the lineup.

The tour marks the return of Axar Patel, who missed the ODI World Cup due to injury. Shahbaz Ahmed makes way for Patel, while Sanju Samson is left out, with Ishan Kishan taking his place. Jitesh Sharma retains his spot in the squad.
