Hello and welcome to the latest updates on the India vs Australia T20 series. Yes! The cricket season is not over yet after finishing the World Cup. The Indian team was announced by the BCCI. Suryakumar Yadav is appointed as the captain of the team, and Dravid is rested among the senior players.

Suryakumar yadav handed the captaincy against AUS T20 series.

In a significant move ahead of the Australia tour, Suryakumar Yadav has been handed the captaincy reins for the upcoming five-match Twenty20 series set to kick off in Visakhapatnam on November 23. The team, coached by VVS Laxman, will wrap up the series in Bangalore on December 3.

Retaining most of the squad from the recent Ireland series, the Indian team bids farewell to Jasprit Bumrah, who led in Ireland and will be resting for this series. Prasidh Krishna, a World Cup squad member, is set to feature, but the injured Hardik Pandya, who could have captained if fit, is not in the lineup.

The tour marks the return of Axar Patel, who missed the ODI World Cup due to injury. Shahbaz Ahmed makes way for Patel, while Sanju Samson is left out, with Ishan Kishan taking his place. Jitesh Sharma retains his spot in the squad.

Shreyas Iyer was under consideration for the captaincy, but the selectors decided for Suryakumar Yadav, citing Iyer's recent workload, starting with the Asia Cup. still, Iyer will join the team as vice-captain for the last two T20Is in Raipur and Bengaluru.

VVS Laxman's appointment as trainer was anticipated, given Rahul Dravid's well- justified rest after an intense three months leading up to the World Cup. Dravid, in response to queries about his unborn plans, maintained an open- concluded station, stating," I have not allowed about it. I have just come off a game. I've no time to suppose about this and no time to reflect on this."

The India team for the Australia tour includes Suryakumar Yadav(Captain), Ruturaj Gaikwad(vice-captain), Ishan Kishan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma(wk), Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, and Mukesh Kumar. This dynamic blend of experience and emerging talent sets the stage for an exciting series Down Under.
